Consternation

The clock still ticks along
The walls come closer;
The wind becomes staler
It’s the end of the poseur.

I vie to keep alive,
To remain vital in own eyes
But the dread and dullness had drowned
All the planets and their skies.

It is thus I endure my fate
Strong, regardless, nonchalant
I know the thrust will end me
Nothing’d remain but this rant.
